This year, the Advent calendar was designed in collaboration with ceramic designer Arnold d'Alger, creator of Bazar d'Alger. The joyful and sunny world of this artist greatly contributes to the magic of this calendar.
On the cover, a pure white snow-capped mountain landscape stands out against a foreground of a fir forest illuminated with golden glints, in the center of which a dream hotel in the style of old palaces invites us to discover a colorful interior which, by reprising the architecture of the building, comes alive with a mischievous character in each window.
A calendar whose decor evokes a winter in the mountains and invites us to enjoy the Advent season by savoring teas and infusions selected to accompany your gourmet snacks.
It includes 25 Cristal® tea bags for an assortment of 24 flavored recipes or single-origin teas, including some of Dammann Frères' essential Christmas blends, as well as new creations, such as the tasty and fruity Noël en Laponie green tea.

Instructions for use

Green teas should be steeped for approximately 3-4 minutes at a maximum of 80°C (steaming, but not simmering or boiling water!)

White teas should be steeped for approximately 4-6 minutes at a maximum of 80°C (steaming, but not simmering or boiling water!)

Oolong teas should be steeped for 4 minutes at a maximum of 90°C (simmering, but not boiling water!)

Black teas and rooibos should be steeped for approximately 4-5 minutes at a maximum of 90°C (simmering, but not boiling water!)

Herbal teas, infusions, and carcadets should be steeped for approximately 5-6 minutes at 100°C (boiling water)

For iced teas and infusions, you have 2 options: *Cold brew: steep the maxi sachet in 1.5 L of water in the refrigerator for a maximum of 7 to 8 hours, then remove the maxi sachet and consume. *Hot brew: Steep a sachet according to the instructions above, depending on the type of tea (green, black, white, infusion/herbal tea) in 1 liter of water. Let cool and pour over ice into a carafe. Whether brewed cold or hot, keep your iced infusion or tea refrigerated and consume within 48 hours of preparation.

Never steep for too long (to avoid bitterness) or too hot (to avoid "burning" your teas and developing bitterness)
