Instructions for use
Green teas should be steeped for approximately 3-4 minutes at a maximum of 80°C (steaming water but not simmering or boiling!)
White teas should be steeped for approximately 4-6 minutes at a maximum of 80°C (steaming water but not simmering or boiling!)
Oolong teas should be steeped for 4 minutes at a maximum of 90°C (simmering water but not boiling!)
Black teas and rooibos should be steeped for approximately 4-5 minutes at a maximum of 90°C (simmering water but not boiling!)
Herbal teas, infusions, and carcadets should be steeped for approximately 5-6 minutes at 100°C (boiling water)
For iced infusions and teas, you have 2 options: *Cold brew: Steep the maxi sachet (or the equivalent of approximately 5g) in 1.5 L of water in the refrigerator for a maximum of 7 to 8 hours. Remove the maxi sachet and consume. *Hot brew: Steep a maxi sachet (or the equivalent of approximately 5g) according to the instructions above, depending on the type of tea (green, black, white, infusion/herbal tea), in 1 liter of water. Let cool and pour over ice in a carafe. Whether cold brewed or hot brewed, keep your infusion or iced tea refrigerated and consume within a maximum of 48 hours after preparation.
Never steep for too long (to avoid developing bitterness) or too hot (to avoid "burning" your teas and developing bitterness).
